Job description

The ERP Data Specialist is responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance, and governance of item master records, bills of material (BOMs), routings, and related system data within Infor XA Software. This role ensures data integrity across the system to support manufacturing, procurement, planning, and financial processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain item master records, including descriptions, units of measure, product classifications, and planning parameters
  • Build and update bills of material (BOMs) ensuring accuracy of components, quantities, and revisions
  • Maintain manufacturing routings, including operations, work centers, labor standards, and sequencing
  • Process engineering change requests (ECRs/ECOs) and implement data updates in alignment with change control procedures
  • Perform data audits to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness across ERP records
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain, and finance teams to validate and maintain data
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues impacting planning, production, or costing
  • Maintain documentation for data standards, naming conventions, and procedures
  • Assist in ERP testing, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably Infor XA or similar manufacturing ERP
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Item master structure
  • Bills of material (BOMs)
  • Routings and work centers
  • Basic manufacturing processes
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, * Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with engineering change management processes
  • Experience with data governance or master data management
