Solutions Architect, Modern Platforms EUC

Senior Solutions Architect for End User Computing (EUC) leads presales and customer enablement: gathers requirements, delivers technical presentations and demos, supports proofs-of-concept, creates BOMs and proposals, mentors solutions architects, escalates and resolves high-priority client issues, and influences product/process improvements across Citrix, VMware, Microsoft and cloud EUC platforms., As a Sr. Solutions Architect, have responsibility for account team enablement tasks such as meeting with Presidio account teams to assist with Modern Platforms EUC Strategy, meeting with clients to develop statements of work, BOMs, or presentations, and overall customer and vendor planning and development., * Working as part of the sales and technical team, attending customer meetings; must be comfortable presenting to and communicating with all levels of staff from Helpdesk to C-Level

• Collecting business and technical requirements
• Driving whiteboard conversations
• Delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations
• Supporting proof-of-concept efforts, creating Bill of Materials (BOMs)
• Creating and delivering proposals and accomplishing related results as needed
• Assisting Consulting Engineer team with project delivery.
• Ability to work with minimal direction in a team environment to drive business
• Provide daily work direction to the solutions architect vertical.
• Serve as the primary escalation path for both solutions architects and clients, and engage upper management when necessary.
• Assist with pre/post-sales calls with sales and clients such as IKO and EKO meetings.
• Provide regular status updates to engineering managers to keep them informed about issues, impediments, escalations and necessary resources.
• Provides areas for improvement and has direct influence on training/validating new processes.
• Engages on developing new products and new solutions
• Attend daily meetings with clients when necessary to review high priority issues and provide/accept guidance on issues affecting their internal infrastructure. This would include being familiar with the client’s environment and having extensive knowledge of the infrastructure.
• Provide feedback to management on process improvements and areas of concern.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 7 years + of Citrix Product Experience, primary focus will be on Citrix Solutions supporting Sales in a Presales role. This includes Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops as well as complex Netscaler solutions.
• General knowledge and ability to speak to the major EUC Products and solutions primarily MSFT AVD, Omnissa\Horizon\WorkspaceOne, and AWS Workspaces\AppStream.
• Previous consulting & presales experience.
• Candidate must be a standard bearer for continuous improvement of the Presidio client experience and a leader in the development and advancement of our corporate technical expertise
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, to present solutions to customers, respond to RFP/RFQs, and to develop strong written proposals.
• Strong adherence to SLA’s and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Excellent documentation and standardization skills

Additional Desired Skills:

• Citrix, AWS, AVD, and Omnissa\Horizon Technology certifications
• F5 experience supporting Sales and or consulting.
• Additional experience with other EUC providers like VMWare, AWS, and Microsoft.
• 3-5 years of experience with other vendors in the EUC space like Igel, Ivanti, ControlUp, IslandIO, Liquidware, FSLogix, VDI Monitoring solutions etc.
• Experience acting in similar team lead capacity or management roles

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience

· 7+ years of delivery and architecture experience with Citrix and the EUC ecosystem.

· 5+ years of experience working with one or more of the following EUC Architectures to include virtual applications & desktops, VMware Horizon, Horizon Cloud, NetScaler, Citrix Cloud, AVD, Azure and/or AWS Workspaces
