Job description

Sateliot is a Barcelona-based Startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide global and continuous connectivity to all the elements that will make up the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol.In order to do so, Sateliot is launching a constellation of last generation nanosatellites, located at low altitude that act as mobile towers.Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive.YOUR MISSIONWorking directly under the guidance of our Senior IT Program Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting the planning, execution, and tracking of our development and infrastructure projects.The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and possesses excellent coordination skills.YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONSProject Coordination & Support: Assist the Senior IT Program Manager in coordinating tasks, scheduling meetings, and ensuring smooth communication between the Infrastructure & Software Engineering team and the projects stakeholders.Backlog Administration: Help maintain and update the IT project backlog in tools like Jira, ensuring tasks are clearly documented and ticket statuses are current.Progress Tracking: Monitor project timelines and milestones, update project tracking tools (Jira, Wrike, etc.), and elevate potential delays or issues to the Senior IT Program Manager.Reporting & Documentation: Assist in preparing regular status reports and updates for stakeholders.Help develop and maintain project documentation and dashboards.Meeting Facilitation: Help organize project meetings, take clear notes, and track action items to ensure follow-through.Communication Support: Act as a point of contact for routine project inquiries, helping to channel information to the correct team members.Process Improvement: Observe and participate in our project management processes, contributing ideas for improvement as you learn.REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).1-3 years of experience in an IT or technical environment.A foundational understanding of IT concepts (e.g., software development life-cycle, basic networking, or cloud services).Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A proactive, ā€œcan-doā€ attitude and a strong eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.NICE TO HAVEHands-on experience with project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Trello.Basic understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).An interest in data analysis and visualization.Entry-level certifications (like Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or CompTIA Project+) are a bonus.WHAT YOU’LL FIND WHEN WORKING AT SATELIOTYou will be part of one of the fastest-growing start?ups in Spain with global reach, getting into the challenging world of New Space & Telecommunication.Our culture is based on embracing openness by welcoming multicultural talent, being respectful with everybody and being open to exchange ideas.We are also committed to a healthy lifestyle by helping our team balance their work and personal life and also by providing them facilities for healthy habits.We are a driven team with big goals, that seek people who are genuinely passionate about their work and that also want to keep learning and getting better personally and professionally!WHAT DO WE OFFERFull time permanent ContractSchedule flexibilityFlat and transparent organizational structureBuddy Program to help you with your integration during your first month ?Flexible compensation package: Tax benefits with ticket restaurant, transportation and kindergarten, training programs.We promote good physical and mental health, with a Health insurance, Fresh fruit in the office and the possibility of sharing the cost of bicycle transport or gyms.Work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary and multicultural environment that will allow you to boost your professional careerTo be part of a strong, international, friendly and motivated team, where you can progress both personal and professionally ?The chance to be part of one of the most exciting and disruptive space projects in Europe ?Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Sateliot by 2x.Get notified about new Information Technology Program Manager jobs in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.#J-*****-Ljbffr

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 1-3 years of experience in an IT or technical environment.
