Job description

As an IT Specialist, your mission will be to keep Voicemod running smoothly by making sure every team member has the tools, systems, and support they need to do their best work. Based at our Valencia office (with the flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days a week), you’ll take ownership of day-to-day IT support, equipment lifecycle management, and basic infrastructure and security operations for our 90+ person team., * Provide day-to-day technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues through our ticketing system (Jira), keeping accurate records and ensuring timely resolution of all tickets.

  • Own the onboarding/offboarding equipment lifecycle end-to-end: prepare and configure devices, purchase new equipment following our device-per-role guide, and manage disposal through our suppliers (tracking costs and flagging savings, though not as budget owner), plus packaging, shipping, delivery, collection, and customs paperwork for international moves.
  • Administer our SaaS and identity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, and similar platforms), keeping licenses, permissions, and configurations up to date.
  • Keep our devices and tools secure and compliant: manage our antivirus console, disk encryption, 2FA, and password management (1Password), and make sure every device meets our software/security standards on an ongoing basis. Stay up to date on relevant technologies and IT trends, using our system management tools to keep patches and system updates on track - escalating to our external security partner when specialist support is needed.
  • Maintain our Valencia office network and on-site infrastructure (WiFi, firewall, router, local server/NAS) - most of our infrastructure is externalized, but this one lives on-site - plus IT-related office equipment like AV and streaming room setups.
  • Own inventory management: keep accurate, up-to-date records of all IT equipment (computers, mobile devices, and other hardware), making sure every asset is correctly assigned, tracked, and accounted for in Jira.
  • Keep IT documentation and runbooks up to date, and coordinate with external vendors and providers (security, ISPs, shipping carriers, equipment suppliers) as needed.
  • Develop, update, and continuously improve our IT best practices and protocols, so processes stay clear and easy to follow as the team grows., * Basic scripting/automation skills (e.g., Google Apps Script, Python, or Bash) to automate repetitive IT tasks.
  • Experience supporting a distributed team, managing IT assets and providing support across various locations.

Requirements

Be Brave - Courage drives progress. Show Ownership and Accountability - Impact begins with ownership. Embrace Passion at Play - Passion builds success. Grow Together - Go further by growing together., * 2-3+ years of experience as an IT Specialist, IT Support Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar role, with a track record of staying at least 1 year per company.

  • Hands-on experience managing SaaS/identity platforms (Google Workspace, Slack) and device management/MDM tools (JAMF, Kandji, Intune, or similar).
  • Comfortable managing equipment logistics (packaging, shipping, customs paperwork) and using ticketing/helpdesk systems to track, prioritize, and resolve support requests.
  • Working knowledge of endpoint security (antivirus console, disk encryption, MFA, access management) and basic network/on-site hardware administration (WiFi, firewall, router, local server/NAS), comfortable escalating to specialists when needed.
  • Communication skills and a service mindset - you enjoy helping people solve their tech problems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when it comes to documentation and record-keeping.
  • Fluent English (minimum B2 level) and Spanish, to support colleagues clearly and coordinate with local vendors, couriers, and customs paperwork.
  • Availability for occasional emergency support outside regular hours, coordinating any time-off or remote days with your manager.
  • Proficiency working with various operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and macOS.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet established deadlines., * Hiring Manager Interview - Deep dive into your background and role expectations (60 min).
  • Technical Interview - Showcase your skills in a real-world task (up to 90 min).
