Job description

Growing technology organization is seeking a Manager of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineering to lead a team of 5-10 cloud engineers responsible for building and supporting cloud platforms that power customer-facing applications.

In this leadership role, you will mentor and develop your team, oversee cloud platform operations, and help drive the organization’s cloud strategy. We’re looking for someone who has advanced through the ranks of cloud engineering and has a strong background in hosting and cloud infrastructure., * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5-10 Google Cloud Platform engineers.

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and support of cloud infrastructure for external, client-facing applications.
  • Ensure platform availability, security, scalability, and performance.
  • Partner with development and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
  • Drive cloud best practices, automation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience managing a team of 5-10 cloud or platform engineers.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience supporting large-scale, customer-facing cloud environments.
  • Solid background in cloud hosting, infrastructure, and platform engineering.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
