Job description

Join the Open Telekom Cloud team and help build one of Europe’s leading public cloud platforms. You’ll develop cloud-native applications, automate infrastructure, and contribute to a secure, scalable, and highly available cloud ecosystem based on OpenStack and DevSecOps principles., * Develop and enhance cloud-native applications and platform services.

  • Build, test, and deploy software using CI/CD best practices.
  • Automate infrastructure and operational processes.
  • Develop tools to improve platform efficiency, reliability, and service quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and contribute to open-source initiatives.
  • Ensure high standards of security, scalability, and performance.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of IT experience with modern cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation.
  • Proficiency in one or more: Python, Go, Java, Groovy, or C/C++.
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience developing REST APIs (gRPC/OpenAPI is a plus).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, TLS/PKI, BGP).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Robot Framework or Selenium.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

Preferred Skills

  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps and cloud security best practices.
