Software Engineer - Identity & Access Management **) We’ve landed!When it comes to innovation and achievement, there are few organisations with a better track record.Join us as we embark on an ambitious journey, evolving our digital commerce platforms and building scalable, resilient, and innovative foundations that enable seamless customer experiences across web, mobile, and connected channels.easy Jet is evolving its digital commerce platforms, building scalable, resilient, and innovative foundations that enable seamless customer experiences across web, mobile, and connected channels.Located in the One Parc Central building in Sant Martí, with hybrid working available, we’re looking to connect with Product, UX, and Software Development professionals who share our passion for making an impact and helping people all over Europe Get Out There.Apply now and be a part of easy Jet’s first digital hub, in the heart of Barcelona!As a Software Engineer within the e Commerce team, you will contribute to the Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) platform, building and operating secure, scalable authentication, authorization, and profile management capabilities across web, mobile, and partner channels.You will contribute to the ongoing evolution of the e Commerce CIAM capability, helping to enhance resilience, compliance, and integration within easy Jet’s digital commerce journey.Working closely with Lead Software Engineer, you will deliver high?quality technical solutions, apply agreed engineering standards, and provide input into technical discussions within the squad.By applying best practices, modern architectures, and innovation, you will accelerate the delivery of customer?facing features, improve platform resilience, and ensure the platform remains robust, scalable, and future?ready.What you’ll be doing Deliver solutions aligned to the agreed technical direction of the CIAM platform, contributing to implementation of authentication flows, identity lifecycle management, federation, consent, and profile services in line with security, privacy, availability, and scalability expectations.Collaborate with the Technical Product Owner and squad members to understand requirements and priorities.Implement customer identity functionality using established CIAM platforms and services that align with established Mission architecture.Write clean, maintainable, and well?tested code that meets performance and security standards - ensuring squad?owned components are designed and implemented in alignment with Mission?level architectural patterns.Collaborate closely with the Lead Software Engineer and cross?functional partners - supporting delivery, contributing to scope discussions, and raising dependency risks where they impact implementation.Contribute to the delivery of CIAM features - ensuring they meet functional requirements as well as performance, security, and availability standards.Help to ensure the quality of code produced within the squad - upholding engineering best practices, coding standards, and platform?aligned patterns.Participate in code reviews - providing constructive, actionable feedback to elevate engineering quality and develop team capability.Use engineering metrics and feedback to identify issues in delivered solutions and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering quality and reliability.Requirements Ability to implement solutions aligned to squad?level technical direction, following guidance from the Lead Software Engineer.Hands?on experience with Identity & Access Management platforms, preferably Forge Rock or Ping Identity, including real?world implementation of authentication journeys, federation, token management, and API?based identity integration.An AWS IAM, Cognito, or related services skillset is also beneficial.Strong experience in cloud and commerce technologies - including AWS, APIs, mobile platforms, and event?driven architecture (EDA) relevant to the squad’s product area.Experience operating and supporting CIAM services in production, using metrics, logs, and alerting across customer identity flows to drive availability, performance, rapid incident detection, and resolution.Proven ability to embed CIAM?specific security and compliance controls, including MFA, credential protection, secure session management, and privacy?by?design, working closely with Security Architects and Info Sec teams.Knowledge of infrastructure and networking principles - with experience designing and maintaining secure, high?performance components within distributed systems.Experience in CI/CD, automated testing, and Dev Sec Ops practices - ensuring high?quality, reliable software releases from the squad.Experience working within large?scale e Commerce or high?transaction environments -
