Backend Developer

In this role you will develop and maintain backend applications in a Development Support team, ensuring reliable service for connectivity IT applications in the Post Trading domain. You will work closely with cross-functional IT teams to understand the application landscape and support requests. The role combines coding with operational support, knowledge acquisition, and process discipline to enhance service quality. This is a hands-on position at the intersection of development and IT operations, offering growth through learning and collaboration., * Act as a support technician within a Development Support team

• Develop and maintain application code across the full development lifecycle and ensure correct service delivery
• Understand and apply SIX processes
• Acquire knowledge about supported applications
• Collaborate with different IT teams to optimize support for requests
• Contribute ideas to enhance team service

• Linux systems administration
• 3 years of C programming and shell scripting
• Additional programming in Python, Java, or similar
• DB technologies (MSSQL, Postgre)
• Microservices and containerization knowledge
• Experience with IT corporate tools (Jira, Confluence, Git, VS Code)
• CI/CD experience (GitLab, Artifactory, Ansible, Grafana, Elastic)
• Strong team spirit
• Languages: Spanish (native/proficiency) and English (fluent)
