Lead Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you will drive the continuous development of software for a global service delivery system. You collaborate with IT professionals and business stakeholders across borders to prototype, implement, test, review, and guide solutions. The role demands advancing team maturity and participating in operations, with a first focus on evolving an internally launched system. You contribute to scalable, reusable software while aligning with product goals and modernization efforts., * Develop and improve software for complex products with an emphasis on reusability, sustainability, and efficiency

• Collaborate with product owners to analyze and implement requirements
• Design, document and implement software solutions (Java, Python)
• Define standards for system tests and test automation
• Install and configure software for complex products and services
• Perform and tune performance analyses
• Support team members from fault analysis to fault clearance
• Increase team and system maturity via peer reviews and guidance
• Introduce and support deployment automation across environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international context

• Extensive experience in modern software development, cloud technologies, and automation
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on Java development
• University degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, and hybrid infrastructures
• Ability to design software aligned with business objectives and emerging tech
• Intercultural competence and effective communication
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Experience in backend and database work with at least one additional high-level language
