Job description

  • Lead the global annual salary review and bonus cycle. Define guidelines, budgets, and processes that ensure fairness and compliance. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Talent, HR Tech, Finance) and oversee communications, training, Workday configuration, testing, and reporting.
  • Act as the functional lead for Compensation in Workday. Configure compensation programs, eligibility rules, bonus plans, and workflows, partnering with HRIS teams to ensure system readiness and continuous improvement. Manage data governance and system integrity for compensation data in Workday. Collaborate with payroll and finance on integrations, reporting, and compliance.
  • Champion process improvements to streamline compensation-related operations, including automation and system enhancements. Contribute to roadmap planning and feature adoption.
  • Coordinate with diverse stakeholders globally, ensuring transparency and effective communication during compensation cycles and governance forums.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and compensation competitiveness analysis.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to align pay practices with business strategy and market trends.
  • Perform job evaluations using the Global Grading System (GGS) and support job architecture reviews to promote consistency and role clarity.
  • Design and maintain pay structures and ranges within Workday, ensuring they reflect market data and internal equity principles.
  • Support pay equity and transparency initiatives by conducting analyses, tracking progress, and preparing actionable recommendations in line with evolving regulations and best practices.
  • Deliver ad hoc analytics to inform business and leadership decisions, exploring opportunities to leverage AI and advanced tools for reporting and insights.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. Compensation certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: At least 10 years in Global Rewards or Compensation & Benefits, with experience executing large-scale or global salary and bonus processes in complex structures.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HR systems, particularly Workday Advanced Compensation (or similar). Skilled in managing end-to-end compensation processes, including configuration and governance. Expertise: Knowledge of core rewards principles (job design, job architecture, job evaluation, pay structures, incentives, equity).
  • Other Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with AI-enabled tools. Excellent communication and ability to navigate a global matrix environment.
