Job description

Coordinates IT minor projects and ensures minor enhancement process is followed. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and works to resolves project issues. Identifies systems requirements and in collaboration with functional teams analyzes and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately., Prepares the overall project plans and documentation, including but not limited to definition, scope, resources, and schedule. Works with business, functional managers, functional/tech leads, or SME on the project plans and documentation.

Facilitates project gathering sessions with the business stakeholders, functional managers, functional/tech leads, and/or SMEs. Responsible for ensuring meeting time, quality, budget, and resource commitments are met

Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, and sets up/coordinates project follow-up meetings. Ensures adequate communication is maintained regarding all project status and priorities

Monitor project progress, risk, and generate reports for project and team leadership showing variance between plan and actual status

Manages/tracks multiple projects and changing priorities. Prioritizes projects and tasks in order to achieve objectives. (Projects costs range up to $75k per enhancement)

Serve as the liaison to solve any issues with the design, requirements, timeline, and scope of the enhancement request that may arise at any stage. Communicates between process owners, requesters and developer to spearhead the resolution of any of these issues, Performs other duties as assigned., Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree computer science, business administration or related field.., Two (2) years or more experience IT experience. preferred One (1) year or more experience leading IT projects., Superb verbal and written communication and people skills Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) to drive projects towards completion; comfortable with follow-up at all levels Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects . Effectively facilitate meetings, work sessions, and training . Present information and ideas clearly and understandably to others, Ryder business knowledge / practices / processes preferred; beginner level; preferred. Advanced Knowledge and skills in the use of Project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices; intermediate level. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within SDLC.; beginner level; preferred.

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
