Job description

  • Responsible for assessing and tracking multiple projects concurrently including: project scope, project management plans, budgets, resources, risk mitigation, and issue management.
  • Tracks the quality of project management deliverables as well as tracking appropriate project metrics for all of their projects.
  • Ensures smooth transition to the Operations Program Manager/Director of the newly implemented CWS, SPM, WT and/or ICM program to ensure smooth operations and maximize client satisfaction.
  • Assists in the creation, design, and execution of on-going continuous improvements related to TAPFIN deployment methodology and associated tools.
  • Ongoing evaluation of MSP program activities and provides recommendations to management on program enhancements and related reporting.
  • Responsible for leading implementation activities of new engagements following the TAPFIN deployment methodology; and for producing all required documentation, as called for by the methodology.
  • Consult with workstream team members for appropriate technology and process recommendations, including all decisions related to system implementation, configuration, design, training, and supplier engagement.
  • Responsible for monitoring, communicating, and taking corrective action on the progress of projects, and providing performance / progress reports to client’s stakeholder and TAPFIN senior management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the TAPFIN Quality Policy, with an in-depth knowledge of documents and procedures as it relates to their job tasks and the processes for non-conformity based on QMS standards.

Sharing Expertise

  • Establish, monitor, and communicate all schedule-related information as needed to successfully meet or exceed key stakeholders’ project objectives during Implementations.
  • Establish routine, on-going communication processes to ensure all project stakeholders have all necessary current and pertinent information.
  • Successfully manage and coordinate multiple project schedules, contracts, suppliers, tool providers, and other team members from TAPFIN and ManpowerGroup
  • Ensure effective solution, integration, and scheduling collaboration with VMS provider.

Gaining Exposure

  • Facilitate fact-finding sessions, conference calls, and other communications as needed to lead projects to successful outcomes meeting client business needs and objectives.
  • Responsible for providing appropriate training to clients, suppliers, tool providers and other staff with regard to TAPFIN’s deployment methodology, processes, procedures, necessary reporting, etc.
  • Act in a consultative role to Clients and Operations Teams on additional projects as assigned.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with TAPFIN, tool provider and client personnel and provide notes to team members from said meetings.

Your Typical Day

  • Facilitate client facing and internal meetings correlated to that projects.
  • Works with sales team to define scope of what was sold.
  • Responsible for maintaining documents within Quality management system.
  • Schedules meetings with SMEs for client project kickoffs and design session
  • Schedules meetings for internal facing meetings and external meeting project team calls and business partners for client facing call - 80% driving internal teams and 20% provide status updates and calls

Requirements

Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in business or related field
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years’ experience in staffing or IT project services sector as a Project Manager.
  • Experienced managing initiatives or projects, particularly those which require coordination of multiple resources across varying groups, functions, and/or organizations.
  • Must possess strong skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint

Nice to Have

  • PMI Certification is a plus, but not required
