Job description

Role: Develop Power Apps and Power Automate workflows while serving as the team’s application and dashboard testing resource. This role provides additional Power Platform capacity and independent validation without the cost of a full-time QA manager., + Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, or approved data connectors.

  • Forms, validation rules, workflows, notifications, and approvals.
  • Role-based access.
  • Test cases, regression testing, defect tracking, and user acceptance.
  • Technical and user documentation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot application behavior, data connections, permissions, and workflow failures.

Strong preferences

  • Power Apps integrated with Power BI, Azure, Microsoft 365, or ERP data.
  • Power Platform solution packaging, environment variables, deployment, and ALM.
  • Government tenant, GCC High, Army 365, or classified environment.
  • Accessibility and Section 508 testing.
  • PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, or comparable certification.
  • Power BI development or automated-testing capability.
  • Experience with custom connectors, APIs, or Azure Functions.

Principal responsibilities

  • Develop and modify Power Apps supporting Army sustainment workflows.
  • Develop Power Automate workflows, notifications, approvals, and data synchronization.
  • Configure data sources, connectors, forms, validation, and role-based access.
  • Integrate applications with SEA dashboards, data models, Azure services, and Army 365 resources.
  • Prepare test plans, test cases, traceability, regression results, and defect records.
  • Test Power Apps, Power BI products, workflows, permissions, and integrations.
  • Coordinate user acceptance and document results.
  • Support production releases, troubleshooting, sustainment, and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide backup development coverage for the Senior Power Platform Developer.

Location and Work Expectations:

  • Ability to work remotely during normal Government working hours and participate in daily status, requirements, development, and technical-review sessions.
  • Ability to travel to Fort Lee, Virginia, at least three times annually and report onsite more frequently if directed., * Message type: Informational; you will receive text messages regarding your application and potentially regarding interview scheduling.

Requirements

Task 5 requires production-ready Power Apps, workflow automation, role-based access, Azure and Army 365 integration, iterative reviews, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer., * Active Secret clearance.

  • Production Microsoft Power Apps experience.
  • Power Automate workflow experience.
  • Application testing, regression testing, or user-acceptance support.
  • Experience with role-based access and production deployment.

  • Four or more years in application development, Power Platform, quality assurance, or business systems.
  • Two or more years developing Power Apps.
  • Experience with:
  • Canvas or model-driven applications.
