Systems and Cloud Administrator

The Systems and Cloud Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Bank’s IT infrastructure, including both on-premises systems and cloud environments (primarily Microsoft Azure).

This role plays a critical part in ensuring system stability, security, and performance. The individual will support patch management, system updates, network troubleshooting, cloud operations, and security tools while assisting with ongoing cloud migration and modernization initiatives., · Administer and maintain Windows server environments and hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud).

· Perform system patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation across servers, endpoints, and cloud platforms.

· Manage and support Microsoft Azure services including compute, storage, networking, and identity (Azure AD).

· Support cloud migration initiatives and maintain cloud-based workloads post-migration.

· Administer endpoint management solutions including Microsoft Intune.

· Support Microsoft Purview and other compliance/security tooling.

· Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system, server, and network performance issues.

· Manage and support firewall configurations, VPNs, and network security controls.

· Provide incident response support, including troubleshooting, escalation, and root cause analysis.

· Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and operational procedures.

· Ensure systems meet security standards aligned with FDIC, FFIEC, and internal policies.

· Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and business teams to support infrastructure needs.

· Support and maintain primary and disaster recovery (DR) environments, including replication, failover readiness, and periodic recovery testing.

· Coordinate with managed service providers (MSPs) and third-party vendors to support managed infrastructure, cloud, and security services, ensuring alignment with internal standards, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.

· Assist in managing vendor relationships and strategic partnerships by coordinating service delivery, supporting issue resolution, and ensuring alignment with infrastructure and business needs.

· Other duties as assigned.

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, This position requires a hands-on technical professional with experience in enterprise environments, ideally within a regulated industry such as banking or financial services., · 5+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud administration, or infrastructure engineering roles.

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure strongly preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable).

· Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise networking fundamentals.

· Experience with patch management tools and lifecycle management processes.

· Experience with firewall administration and network management and troubleshooting.

· Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and endpoint management.

· Exposure to Microsoft Purview or other data governance/compliance tools preferred.

· Experience working in a regulated environment (banking, financial services, healthcare, etc.) is highly preferred.

Relevant certifications preferred, such as:

· Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Endpoint Administrator Associate, or similar certifications.

· Azure Solutions Architect Expert

· CompTIA Security+ or Network+
