Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using HashiCorp Terraform and Terraform Enterprise (TFE).
- Build reusable Terraform modules, templates, and standardized infrastructure patterns.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Implement DevOps and GitOps practices including infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, and policy-as-code.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes using Python, Bash, and other scripting languages.
- Support cloud platform services with a focus on scalability, security, reliability, and automation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement standardized infrastructure solutions and deployment patterns.
- Design and support cloud networking components including virtual networks, subnets, routing, load balancers, firewalls, and security controls.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Support containerized environments utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
- Implement security best practices including IAM, encryption, and cloud governance.
- Contribute to highly available cloud infrastructure across IaaS and PaaS environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and continuously improve platform performance and reliability.
Requirements
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a platform engineering team responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure. This role will focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform Enterprise, automation, and cloud platform engineering while supporting enterprise initiatives within a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate has strong Terraform expertise, DevOps experience, and a passion for building reusable infrastructure and automation solutions., * 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Automation or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong experience writing HashiCorp Terraform configurations and reusable modules.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform Enterprise (TFE).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, and Policy as Code.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and cloud adoption frameworks.
- Experience building enterprise-scale IaaS and PaaS environments.
- Knowledge of landing zones, Well-Architected Framework principles, cloud-native security, and monitoring.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and container repositories.
- Experience with automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, Python, Java, or similar technologies.
- Experience with cloud logging, monitoring, and observability platforms.
- Proficiency with Bash, Python, or another scripting language.
- Experience with container technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the financial services industry.
- Experience supporting enterprise technology and infrastructure teams.
- Experience across multiple public cloud platforms.
- Linux/UNIX system administration experience.
- Familiarity with AI/ML services used to enhance automation and platform engineering.
Benefits & conditions
$65 - $67 an hour - Contract
