Job description
We’re seeking an experienced Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience with workflow background to support the design and implementation of Zip (Intake to Contract) integrations and related backend systems. This contractor role is for a hands-on engineer who can work closely with Sourcing/Procurement and cross functional stakeholders to deliver scalable integration solutions and improve procurement related workflows. Responsibilitie
- sDesign, build, and support backend integrations for Zip (I2C) and related procurement workflows
- .Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable integration solutions between Zip and internal enterprise systems
- .Partner with technical, procurement, and cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and deliver effective solutions
- .Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks, and recommend improvements through automation and systems integration
- .Support end-to-end procurement and intake workflows, ensuring backend systems align with business requirements
- .Translate functional and operational requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
- .Troubleshoot integration issues, monitor system performance, and ensure reliability of data flows across platforms
- .Contribute to documentation, testing, deployment, and handoff of solutions to internal teams, * edFamiliarity with ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar system
- s.Experience supporting procurement, approval, vendor, purchasing, or invoice-related workflow
- s.Background in cloud-based integration patterns and modern backend architectur
Requirements
- nsMust have Experience with Zip Intake-to-Procure (I2C) implementations or integration
- s.Strong experience in backend engineering and enterprise systems integratio
- n.Proven experience building and supporting integrations for procurement, intake, or workflow platforms such as Zip, Coupa, SAP, Ariba, or similar enterprise tool
- s.Experience working with APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and system-to-system integration
- s.Strong understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P), intake, approval, and procurement workflow
- s.Ability to work across technical and business teams to define requirements and implement practical solution
- s.Experience integrating with finance, ERP, procurement, warehouse, or planning systems is highly desirabl
- e.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze existing processes and recommend streamlined technical solution
- s.Experience with data mapping, transformation, validation, and synchronization across system
- s.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environme
