As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll analyze the software running on production networks, identify improvements and propose cost-cutting solutions. Collaborating throughout the organization, you’ll support multiple products and deliver on the design of customer solutions. You’ll ensure our customers manage their security traffic in a more reliable and scalable way.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Investigating customer escalations and providing mitigation.

• Working on tooling to automate production debugging.

• Setting up continuous production profiling, identifying areas of cost reduction, and proposing new designs.

• Creating and enhancing features and functionality, from conception and design through to testing and deployment.

• Validating the result of cost reduction and providing benchmark results.

• Conducting code reviews and helping other engineers to optimize their code.

• Working with development and system QA teams to create regression tests that cover changes to our software.

• Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent experience

• Have an active security clearance.

• Possess experience working in networking, cloud, or distributed computing environment.

• Demonstrate experience programming with C++.

• Have working knowledge with Linux or UNIX operating systems.

• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and ability to write design documentation
