Job description
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented AWS Developer / Python Engineer to join our dynamic cloud technology team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud applications and infrastructure solutions. Your expertise will drive innovative cloud architectures, leveraging a broad spectrum of technologies including AWS services, Python programming, and containerization tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that impact our global digital footprint, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient cloud environments., * Develop and implement cloud-based applications using AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and other cloud-native tools.
- Design and maintain scalable microservices architectures utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for infrastructure as code deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RESTful APIs and web services that support SaaS and PaaS solutions.
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible, and scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
- Optimize system performance through system hardening, virtualization (VMware, OpenStack), and security best practices across Linux and Windows environments.
- Contribute to system architecture planning with a focus on cloud infrastructure, IaaS platforms like Google Cloud Platform and Rackspace.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud development processes adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, * Proficiency in Python programming with experience in software development for cloud applications.
- Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices design patterns, and RESTful API development.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud computing platform including S3 storage, EC2 instances, Lambda functions, and related services.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and system hardening techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud architecture principles across multiple platforms including Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Rackspace, and Citrix environments.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef for managing cloud infrastructure at scale.
- Working knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL Server; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Ability to develop APIs using RESTful standards; experience with JavaScript frameworks is advantageous for web service integration.
- Strong grasp of IT infrastructure concepts including virtualization (VMware), VPNs for secure connectivity, and network security protocols.
