Job description

Insight Global is seeking a TSSCI Test Engineer to sit in Rosslyn, VA. This individual will play a critical role in validating, integrating, and deploying complex systems across both classified and cloud-based infrastructures. The candidate will be responsible for executing and automating comprehensive testing strategies while supporting full lifecycle release management-from development through production. This role requires strong expertise in cloud-based testing tools, CI/CD processes, and environment management, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in mission-critical environments and is passionate about ensuring system reliability, scalability, and operational readiness.

Requirements

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
Bachelors Degree and 4+ years of experience in software testing, integration, or release engineering
Strong experience with automated testing in cloud and virtualized environments
Hands-on experience with tools such as: Ansible, AWS (C2S/cloud environments), JMeter (load/performance testing)
Experience conducting: Load, stress, regression, and UAT testing
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration practices
Strong background in release management and lifecycle processes
Experience supporting classified environments/test beds
Ability to develop test strategies, acceptance criteria, and documentation
Strong experience with integration, validation, and deployment testing

Plusses:

Experience with Amazon C2S (classified AWS environments)
Prior support of CESO or similar government programs
Strong knowledge of network engineering, security testing, and infrastructure validation
Experience performing site surveys and migration planning
Familiarity with CloudFormation and infrastructure-as-code
Experience ensuring environment parity (test vs production)
Prior exposure to data migration and metadata handling
Experience working directly with government approval processes

Benefits & conditions

Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for this position and candidate pay will vary based on experience. We anticipate paying 150K - 178K for this candidate based on candidates background, level of expertise in automation Testing and clearance level
