Frontend Software Engineer (React)

We are seeking a Software Engineer with a strong focus on front-end development to design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for web applications. The role involves building responsive, user-friendly applications and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including designers, backend engineers, architects, and product managers to deliver high-quality features for connected device applications and APIs., + Engage with customers to understand use cases, pain points, and requirements with a user-centric approach

• Design, develop, and deliver front-end solutions using modern tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies

• Align development work with architecture guidelines for consistency and scalability

• Collaborate with product owners, designers, backend developers, and architects

• Create mockups and prototypes and participate in UI design reviews and product demos

• Perform functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure software quality

• Improve application performance by fixing bugs, optimizing code, and adopting new technologies

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, SEO principles, and accessibility standards

• Develop user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React and Angular

• Stay updated with emerging trends in UI development and front-end technologies

• Participate in requirements gathering, user stories, and test case creation

• Contribute to technical design, documentation, development, testing, and deployment activities

• Support incident, problem, and change management activities including root cause analysis

• Bachelor’s degree

• 6+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years in software development

• Strong experience in React (minimum 3+ years in frontend development using React)

• Experience working with REST APIs (1+ year minimum)

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development practices

• Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams

• Familiarity with cross-browser testing, accessibility, and SEO principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spring (1+ year)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub

• Exposure to GraphQL

• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace

• Experience with React ecosystem tools (Redux, Context API, React Router, Jest, React Testing Library, Vite)

• Experience with Figma or design systems/component libraries

• Experience with React class components as well as functional components and hooks

• Familiarity with OAS standards and RESTful API design
