IT Asset Inventory Development Ivanti Consultant

This role requires an IT Asset Inventory Development Consultant to design, optimize, and maintain a robust IT asset management framework within the financial services industry. Hands-on experience building and configuring Ivanti solutions.

• Work with an leading bank in Midtown!, * Support the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization’s IT Asset Management program.
• Manage and improve IT asset lifecycle processes, including asset acquisition, deployment, tracking, maintenance, software licensing, and asset disposition.
• Build, configure, and maintain Ivanti solutions to support asset inventory and management requirements.
• Develop and enhance automated workflows to improve asset tracking, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Integrate IT systems and tools to ensure accurate asset data and streamlined processes.
• Monitor asset inventory accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Support software and hardware asset management activities, including inventory reconciliation and license compliance.
• Collaborate with IT operations, infrastructure, support, and governance teams to ensure alignment with ITAM best practices.
• Serve as a backup resource for existing ITAM team functions and responsibilities.

• Experience in an IT Asset Management role with a strong focus on automation and system integration.
• Hands-on experience building, configuring, and supporting Ivanti solutions.
• Strong understanding of the IT Asset Managementlifecycle, including:
• Asset acquisition
• Asset deployment
• Inventory management
• Software license compliance
• Asset retirement and disposal
• Practical knowledge of software and hardware asset tracking processes.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and improve IT asset workflows.
• Ability to clearly articulate ITAM concepts, processes, and best practices.
• Experience working within enterprise IT environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting and automation tools, including:
• SQL
• Perl
• Other workflow automation technologies
• Experience designing and implementing automated asset management processes.
• Knowledge of IT system integration and data synchronization methodologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and IT Service Management practices.
• Background in IT Support, Infrastructure, Networking, or related technical disciplines.
• Financial Services industry experience is preferred but not required.

• An hourly pay rate between $35 and $49 USD, based on experience and expertise.
