Job description
An employer is looking to add a Sr. Software Developer, with experience in Java and Spring Boot to design, develop, code, test and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software of moderate complexity. They will develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for producing and explaining solutions in the form of documented system requirements. They will be responsible for building production ready, enterprise-grade systems that achieve target SLAs for scalability, reliability, and performance on an agreed-upon schedule. They will actively participate in code review, unit testing, and continuous integration processes and ensure code quality through code reviews, adherence to coding standards, and promotion of best practices.
Requirements
5+ years development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes
Experience with Oracle RDBMS, NoSQL, writing PL/SQL, Kafka
Familiarity with modern technologies, including emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly within their domain of expertise (e.g., cloud platforms, Kubernetes, AI/ML, DevOps).
Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
Experience in developing scalable high-performance systems to support high data volume processing Experience with REST API Services
Experience in the telecommunications industry
Experience working for one of the following or a similar company: RingCentral, Bandwidth, SINCH, 8x8, Twilio or Vonage
