Job description

  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Develop automation frameworks for VM provisioning, workload domain creation, and network segmentation using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • System Integration: Connect VCF APIs with third-party tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk Cloud, and CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery.
  • Workflow Design: Build self-service catalogs, role-based access control (RBAC) models, and approval workflows for internal tenants.
  • Lifecycle & Operations: Implement automation for platform upgrades, patching, and capacity rightsizing across hybrid cloud endpoints.

Requirements

  • Core VCF Stack: Expert-level knowledge of SDDC Manager, vSphere, NSX (networking and security), and vSAN architectures.
  • Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and REST APIs.
  • Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with vRealize/Aria Automation (vRA/vRO), Terraform, and Ansible.

Certifications: VMware Certified Advanced Professional - VMware Cloud Foundation Automation
