You’ll join a small, elite team of engineers, mathematicians, and scientists who are building the next generation of signal intelligence tools for national security. Your work will directly support missions that matter, providing decision-makers with the critical information they need. Your days will be spent developing custom signal processing software, designing reusable frameworks, and optimizing performance on Linux-based systems. You’ll implement core DSP algorithms, create intuitive GUIs, and ensure that every line of code is robust and well-documented. This is a hands-on role where you’ll see the results of your efforts in operational systems. The ideal person for this role is a master of C++ and Python, comfortable with the X-MIDAS ecosystem, and experienced in classified environments. • You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field
• You need at least 5 years of experience in practical system development and deployment
• Demonstrated mastery of C/C++ development in a Linux environment is essential
• You should have experience with reusable framework design and development
• Strong math and analytical skills are required for this role
• You must have experience with the MIDAS framework (preferably X-MIDAS) and Python
• The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is mandatory, which requires US citizenship, * Experience with geolocation and/or digital signal processing, especially in a classified environment, is a strong plus
• Proficiency with Java and Qt for building robust user interfaces and tools is desired
• Familiarity with the REDHAWK framework for developing software-defined radio applications would be valuable
• Prior experience supporting SIGINT processing systems in a defense or intelligence context is beneficial
• A background working in classified environments with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance is advantageous
• Strong skills in multi-threading and performance optimization for real-time signal processing are preferred
• A proven track record of developing reusable frameworks and libraries for complex software systems is ideal
