Job description

Architect, design, and implement end-to-end multi-cloud data solutions leveraging GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions) and Azure services to optimize ETL processes, enhance analytics, and ensure data governance.
Lead migration of on-premises workloads to cloud environments, including transitioning ETL pipelines to BigQuery and Composer, improving processing speed, scalability, and reporting efficiency.
Create high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) design documents, including star schema modeling, identifying dimensions, fact tables, and ER relationships, in collaboration with software developers and systems analysts.
Design and configure multi-region, high-availability, and disaster recovery architectures using Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, Load Balancing, and appropriate networking/security configurations (IAM, VPC Service Controls, KMS).
Install, configure, and monitor operating systems, applications, software, and system management tools, ensuring infrastructure stability, security, and optimal performance through fine-tuning and optimization techniques.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Google Cloud Build, Terraform, and automation scripts to support continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Implement data security, quality, and DLP processes to safeguard sensitive information during ingestion, processing, and consumption, including user entitlement management for secure access.
Participate in and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate functionality, performance, and security prior to production deployment., 510 Carnegie Center, Princeton, NJ 08540. Exact worksite not known at this time but will report to and will be managed from Onix’s New Jersey office.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any branch), Information Technology/Systems, Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science, Systems/Technology Management or Computer/Management Information Systems plus five (5) of experience as Systems Architect/Engineer, Solution Architect, Software Developer/Engineer, Computer Systems Analyst, Computer Programmer, Project Lead or related position. Foreign educational equivalent accepted.
