Job description

BIM / VDC Digital Delivery LeadDrive Digital Innovation. Lead Project Delivery. Elevate Team Performance.

We’re seeking an experienced BIM / VDC Digital Delivery Lead to play a critical role in shaping how projects are executed, coordinated, and delivered. In this position, you’ll serve as both a technical expert and team leader, guiding Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists while overseeing the digital model environment for complex, multidisciplinary projects.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving project workflows, mentoring others, and leveraging technology to drive successful project outcomes. You’ll work closely with project leadership and design teams to ensure digital delivery strategies are aligned with project goals from planning through construction and closeout.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, providing technical guidance and mentorship throughout project execution.
  • Manage project-level digital model environments and ensure the successful delivery of BIM/VDC project requirements.
  • Partner with Project Managers to develop, implement, and maintain Digital Delivery Plans (DDPs).
  • Support project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning and model setup to construction documentation and closeout.
  • Monitor model health, quality, and coordination processes to ensure projects remain efficient and well organized.
  • Establish and maintain project initiation procedures, document management systems, and server infrastructure for multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure project teams have the software access, tools, and training needed to execute work effectively.
  • Configure and maintain model environments that support project-specific requirements and delivery goals.
  • Lead coordination and quality-control meetings to facilitate communication and resolve issues proactively.
  • Manage digital deliverables and ensure milestone submissions are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Support project archiving and closeout efforts while maintaining organized project records.
  • Collaborate with other Digital Delivery Leads to share best practices, solve challenges, and continuously improve digital delivery processes.
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of team members through coaching and knowledge sharing., * Take ownership of project-level BIM/VDC strategy and digital delivery execution.
  • Work closely with project leadership and multidisciplinary teams on impactful projects.
  • Help shape best practices, workflows, and digital delivery standards.
  • Mentor and develop the next generation of Digital Delivery professionals.
  • Leverage cutting-edge technology and tools to improve project outcomes and efficiency.
  • Be part of a collaborative environment where technical expertise and innovation are highly valued.

Work Environment

This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule, with three days in the office and two days working from home, providing the balance of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility. Additional flexibility is available as needed to support both project and personal commitments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of BIM element authoring and digital design experience.
  • 5+ years of digital delivery, model management, or VDC experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of 3D design software, model management processes, and document control systems.
  • Strong understanding of interdisciplinary project coordination and building systems.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and 3D coordination tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and digital collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, specifications, and discipline-specific codes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across project teams.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving and technical support., * Technical degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Familiarity with automation, scripting, or programming applications that support digital delivery workflows.
  • Experience with Revit add-ins, BIM tools, and related supporting software.
  • Strong presentation and client-facing communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with experience balancing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for mentoring others.

Benefits & conditions

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
