AI Data Scientist Expert

The project involves transforming raw internal data into trusted datasets and actionable insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. The role focuses on analytics engineering, business intelligence, and data storytelling, with a high likelihood of extension and/or conversion to a full-time employee., * Design, build, and operate data pipelines in both Alteryx and BigQuery/GCP platforms.

• Ensure data quality, lineage, and reliability throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver production-grade dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Perform analyses to uncover business insights and translate data into clear narratives.
• Partner with business and technical teams to define requirements and support decision-making.
• Document requirements, data contracts, and create executive presentations.

• 7+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering or a comparable role.
• Strong experience with BigQuery and the Google Cloud data ecosystem.
• Extensive experience developing reporting solutions in Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Advanced SQL and proficiency in Python for analytics and data transformation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience migrating from Alteryx or other legacy ETL platforms to cloud-native architectures.
• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
• Experience with Looker or Looker Studio.
• Familiarity with streaming and near-real-time data architectures.
• Experience within financial services or regulated industries.

This is a 12-week contract position with the possibility of extension and conversion to a full-time employee.
