Job description

Remote position supporting the implementation and integration of Professional Coding tools into Epic systems.

  • Augments the Epic shared services team at Optum, serving five Epic Health System clients.
  • Primary focus is EpicCare Ambulatory; experience/certification in Cadence, HIM, Billing, or MyChart is highly valued.
  • Collaborates with operational stakeholders and/or external vendors.
  • Involvement in technical build roles within Epic, particularly EpicCare Ambulatory.
  • Utilizes knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and APIs for integration and data exchange.
  • Supports overall team capacity and project delivery for Epic-related initiatives.

Requirements

Preferred experience includes working with healthcare SaaS software and understanding care team workflows.

  • Relevant certifications (Cadence, PB, HIM, MyChart) are advantageous.
  • No background check or drug screen required for this position.
