Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Infrastructure & Network Engineer to support and enhance our AWS-based infrastructure environment. This role will be responsible for provisioning, automating, and maintaining cloud and network infrastructure, ensuring secure connectivity with customers, and supporting production systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, Terraform, network connectivity, and infrastructure automation, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues in a fast-paced environment., * Provision, manage, and decommission cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Configure and maintain FortiGate firewalls and network security solutions.
- Manage and support customer network connectivity through AWS Site-to-Site VPNs, Direct Connect, and FortiGate appliances deployed at customer locations.
- Develop and maintain automation for operational activities, including patch management, certificate renewals, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Build, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and automation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide Level 3 support for production incidents across infrastructure, networking, and application environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure-related issues.
- Ensure infrastructure reliability, security, scalability, and compliance with operational standards.
Requirements
- 3-8 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting infrastructure in AWS.
- Strong experience with AWS services including:
- EC2
- VPC
- S3
- IAM
- Route 53
- CloudWatch
- Advanced proficiency with Terraform, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
- Strong networking background, including:
- AWS Site-to-Site VPNs
- AWS Direct Connect
- Firewall management (FortiGate preferred)
- Customer connectivity support
- Experience administering RHEL and Windows Server environments.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents across infrastructure, networking, and application layers.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call support rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and network architecture.
- Strong scripting and automation experience.
- AWS certifications are a plus.
- Experience working in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) environment, In accordance with federal law, only applicants who are legally authorized to work in the United States will be considered for this position. Must reside in the United States or have a valid U.S. address for residence.
Benefits & conditions
The base salary for this position is $ 92,250 - 131,786 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
