  • Design and implement cutting-edge Azure data architectures following Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) patterns.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain complex ETL/ELT data pipelines leveraging Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric Data Factory.
  • Develop high-performance, scalable data processing solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python in Azure Databricks or Fabric Spark Notebooks.
  • Lead end-to-end migration of on-premises data warehouses to Azure, ensuring data integrity with minimal downtime.
  • Perform deep performance tuning and troubleshooting on Spark internals and Delta Lake logs.
  • Integrate Power BI with OneLake and Lakehouse architectures for seamless reporting and analytics.
  • Implement robust security measures, including RLS and data masking, adhering to global privacy regulations.
  • Drive DataOps practices, championing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub, with a focus on code quality, documentation, and automation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, BI, and Cloud Data Engineering.
  • Proven expertise in designing end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Azure, including ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, ADF, and Fabric ecosystem.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (PySpark), SQL, and data modeling (Dimensional, Star/Snowflake schemas).
  • Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, RLS, and large dataset optimization.
  • Infrastructure as Code knowledge (ARM, Terraform, Bicep) and hybrid cloud integration.
  • Azure certifications such as DP-203, DP-600, or DP-700 are highly preferred.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture, and Direct Lake connectivity.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning at the Spark internals level.
  • Additional certifications in Fabric or Data Engineering.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in data platform design and migration projects.

Other Requirements:

  • Remote work environment with excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with evolving Azure services and data technologies.
  • Though travel is minimal, flexibility for occasional on-site visits may be required.
