Job description

Robert Half is seeking a Contract .NET Developer to join our client’s development team. As a Contract .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions using the .NET framework. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects with a reputable organization., * Software Development: Design, code, test, debug, and document software applications using the .NET framework and related technologies.

  • Application Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing .NET applications by identifying areas for modification, improvement, and optimization.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and develop software solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Database Integration: Develop and optimize database-related functionalities within applications, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Code Reviews and Testing: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards. Perform thorough testing to identify and resolve any issues.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications, including system designs and user manuals.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for developed applications, ensuring smooth operation and addressing user-reported issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a .NET Developer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and related technologies (ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks/libraries.
  • Knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and database design principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory, provided there is relevant experience in the field. Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
