Job description

The Internet Sales Agent serves as a key link between digital marketing efforts and revenue generation by managing online sales inquiries and converting prospective customers into qualified sales opportunities. This role is responsible for engaging with internet-generated leads, assessing customer needs, and initiating timely follow-up communications through email and telephone to support the sales process., * Plan, direct, and coordinate online marketing efforts to promote the organization’s products/services.

  • Respond to internet-generated sales leads, effectively qualifying potential customers.
  • Set appointments or follow-ups via email or telephone to nurture leads and drive sales.
  • Document sales calls to update customer information on databases and compile statistics.
  • Work closely with the sales staff to increase overall sales and achieve targets.
  • Sit for long periods of time, talk, lift, and bend during internet sales activities.
  • Uphold the company’s drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free policies within the workplace.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The position combines online marketing coordination, lead qualification, customer relationship management, and sales support. The Internet Sales Agent maintains accurate customer records, tracks interactions within company databases, and provides reporting and sales statistics to support business objectives. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency with CRM and database systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the sales team to drive bookings, increase conversions, and achieve organizational sales goals., * Previous experience in Sales, customer service, telemarketing, or lead generation required.

  • Previous experience in Hospitality, hotels, resorts, tourism, or travel-related industries preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to professionally communicate via email and telephone.
  • Customer qualification and lead nurturing experience.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills.
  • Data entry and documentation skills for maintaining customer databases and sales statistics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internet-based applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams to achieve revenue goals.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required
