Job description
The Systems Architect provides technical leadership in the design and evolution of large-scale tactical communications architectures. This role focuses on future-state design, integration strategy, and modernization of Army and joint network capabilities, bridging operational requirements with emerging technologies.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s strongly preferred)
-
10-15+ years of experience in systems/network architecture
-
Deep expertise in:
-
Tactical Army communications systems
-
SATCOM (TDMA/FDMA, terminals, modems)
-
RF communications and transmission systems
-
IP networking and transport architectures
-
Experience developing architectures across system-of-systems environments
-
Strong understanding of DoDAF and enterprise architecture frameworks
-
Experience interfacing with Government leadership and stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
-
Prior experience with PEO C3T, PM Tactical Network, or similar programs
-
Experience with line-of-sight (LOS) and transmission engineering concepts such as waveforms, antennas, and link performance
-
Cloud/network convergence experience
-
Active TS clearance preferred
