Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Information Communication Technology (ICT) Specialist to join our innovative team.   • Design, build, and optimize IT infrastructure including servers, networks, databases, and cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
  • Lead system integration efforts utilizing APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and middleware platforms like Salesforce and Pegasystems to ensure interoperability across applications.
  • Manage software development lifecycle (SDLC), including coding, testing, deployment, configuration management, version control with tools like Git, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Conduct requirements analysis through cross-functional communication with business units to translate needs into technical specifications for application development or system enhancements.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support for system issues related to operating systems (Windows/Linux), network configurations (VPN, DNS, DHCP), security vulnerabilities (firewall, system hardening), and performance bottlenecks.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and implement security best practices such as cloud security measures, threat intelligence integration, and system hardening to safeguard organizational data.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture design, and enterprise solutions implementation.
  • Proficiency with database systems including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra; strong SQL skills required.
  • Experience with application development using languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, Java, Ruby on Rails; familiarity with frameworks like React Express is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of systems engineering principles covering virtualization (VMware/ESXi), containerization (Kubernetes), microservices architecture, and cloud computing platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Strong background in network management including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, load balancing techniques, and network security protocols.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices including scripting (Bash/PowerShell), automation tools like Jenkins or WDS, GPO management, and system configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as vulnerability management, threat intelligence analysis, system hardening techniques, and information security policies.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across teams; experience in business analysis to gather requirements effectively.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting diverse systems issues related to operating systems (Windows/Linux), application performance tuning, debugging code errors in various programming languages.
