Job description

  • Act as the primary point of contact between customers and Crew Chiefs, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
  • Manage approximately five (5) clients at a time, balancing multiple projects while ensuring high-quality service and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and oversee program plans and schedules, ensuring adherence to milestones and operational targets.
  • Utilize control systems and reports to measure project progress, including project schedules, budgets, material orders, labor targets, and Contract Change Orders (CCO).
  • Identify potential project challenges and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all company contract commitments are met and executed per customer agreements.
  • Coordinate technical activities across departments, including production, procurement, quality control, logistics, and administration.
  • Obtain customer approvals for work scope changes and overtime as needed.
  • Provide alternative solutions and justifications for deviations from the project plan while developing recovery strategies.
  • Drive sales by informing customers about company capabilities, special programs, and pricing incentives.
  • Prepare customer quotations and administer warranty claims and special programs.
  • Review invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper labor, materials, cost, and contract compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns and billing disputes in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company-wide quality, environmental, and Safety Management System (SMS) policies., This client facility provides full engine support services, including full MPI / CZI capability of all the Honeywell TFE731 turbofan engines, overhaul capability of the TPE331 turboprop engines, line service and a “minor” rating on the HTF7000 engines and full overhaul capability of the GTCP 36-150 series auxiliary power units (APUs). In addition, this facility provides scheduled airframe inspection and repair services as well as avionics services and installations. The facility has three state-of-the-art test cells for testing of the TFE731, TPE331 and GTCP 36-100/150 APU’s. They are an authorized service center for Bombardier Challenger 600 series, Dassault Falcon Jet all models, Honeywell TFE731, TPE311, GTCP 36-100/150 APU’s and the HTF7000 engines. The facility is also an authorized service facility for the Bombardier Challenger 600 series aircraft, Embraer Legacy 450/500/600 and 650 series and all models of the Dassault Falcon aircraft . They also performs major maintenance, inspections and repairs on all Hawker, Learjet, and Westwind series of aircraft.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance project management experience in Aviation.
  • Minimum 1 year of Corporate/Business Aviation experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (MS Project/ SharePoint/ Excel/ Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a matrix environment without direct reporting responsibility.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Experience working with Hawker, Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon, and/or Embraer corporate aircraft.
  • Specialized certification(s)/training from a technical school, aircraft manufacturer, OEM supplier, FlightSafety, and/or CAE.
  • Experience working in a Business Aviation MRO facility.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce (CRM)
  • Strong business and financial acumen relevant to aviation, billing, and financial statements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong customer relations and conflict resolution skills.
