Full Stack Developer

Come Join Our Team! APK Solutions is a government contractor providing professional and technical services to the intelligence community. We are currently looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our winning team. The individual hired for this position will provide support for our government customer located in Chantilly, VA., Software application developer / engineer, supporting the design, development, integration, maintenance and enhancement of custom and/or COTS systems. Design, develop and test custom software solutions across multiple system components or applications. Create implementation or integration approach for applications and components. Translate system requirements into design specifications. Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production. Design and code applications in line with programming standards and interface specifications., Work includes leveraging the Scrum methodology to plan and execute tasks within the project Program Increment strategy. Software development includes both back-end API development as well as front-end UI development. Use of docker for deploying microservices. Interaction with UI/UX designers to provide input to the designs based on technical feasibility.

Experience in python Database / data layer experience (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) Experience with containerization platforms (docker, kubernetes, or podman)

Nice to have: Front-end development (React.JS preferred, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.) Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining microservices on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) Experience in Agile / Scrum
