Your software will be integrated into a powerful GIS platform, helping analysts extract actionable insights from complex data., * You will understand U.S. DoD and intelligence community user requirements and develop appropriate GIS and remote sensing software for various defense and intelligence scenarios

  • You will solve complex problems and build intuitive user experiences that enhance analytical capabilities
  • You will develop rich image processing and analysis capabilities for multiple modalities including electro-optical, multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal infrared, radar, and motion imagery
  • You will create industry-leading software for common defense and intelligence formats such as NITF, TFRD, and MISB compliant full-motion video
  • You will design and implement advanced image processing components, algorithms, and APIs
  • You will build advanced radiometric image processing and photogrammetric software components, workflows, and user interfaces

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in C++ or C#, along with a strong foundation in image processing, photogrammetry, or remote sensing. You have worked on COTS or GOTS imagery applications and understand the unique demands of the defense and intelligence environment. Your active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI access are essential.   • You must have at least five years of software development experience working on COTS or GOTS imagery applications
  • You must be professionally proficient in C++ or C#
  • You must have applied experience with remote sensing, image processing, photogrammetry, or image analysis application development
  • You must have direct experience supporting the defense or intelligence communities
  • You must hold an active U.S. Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI level access
  • You must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, geography, engineering, remote sensing, photogrammetry, or a related field, * A Master’s or PhD in computer science, remote sensing, or another engineering discipline is highly valued
  • Experience using Esri APIs will give you a head start in this role
  • You should be familiar with processing pipeline optimization techniques
  • Knowledge of the NITF format and specifications is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with geospatial tools such as ArcGIS, ENVI, Socet GXP, or RemoteView would be advantageous
