Job description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Information Systems Security Officer, Lead! This person d esigns, develops, and implements leading-edge analytical and technical methodologies, tools, and policies/standards to ensure a cyber-secure environment for customer organizations. Such security measures include intrusion detection and prevention, software and system security protection through application of secure design protocols and reverse engineering, and data assurance. Incumbents typically have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. .
What You’ll Be Doing:
- M aintain the appropriate operational security posture for an information system
- Man age the security of the information system through Certification & Accreditation (C&A)
- Su pport the information system owner for the completion of security related responsibilities
- D raft and review System Security Plans (SSP) and solutions
- R ecommend security mechanism implementations
- Evaluate and document the effectiveness of solutions implemented to provide the “CIA Triad”
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI w/ Poly
- Bachelor’s Degree in from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience with cybersecurity or information assurance
- Active DoD Level II or higher security certifications such as CGRC, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO
- Proficiency with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
- Experience with DoD Cybersecurity Policies
- E xperience with Xacta Solutions (Xacta 360)
- Knowledge of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
- Exposure to AWS (Amazon Web Services), ACAS (Security scanning software), vCenter, WSUS (Windows Server Update Service), and/or STIGs/IAVA
- A problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solution
- Able to build systems from the ground up - network architecture/systems engineering

Salary Range: $148,300.00 - $266,900.00
