As a Flight Software Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the software infrastructure to scale the flight software organization by orders of magnitude. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Enable order-of-magnitude increases in developer productivity through reusable software
• Pushing the boundaries of scalable embedded software development
• Creating packaging and distribution infrastructure at scale
• Develop abstraction layers for integrated vehicle control systems

• Scaled from a small team to a large software organization
• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Experience with software packaging and distribution systems (Nix, Bazel, etc)
• Background in embedded software architecture, design and development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc., or equivalent experience
• Nice to have: Direct experience with DO-178 standards or similar certifications
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance

US Salary Range

$166,000 - $253,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. The Flight Software team at Anduril develops flight computer vehicle software for all airborne and subsea vehicles. The right person for this role has experience in both commercial (product focused) and public sector (defense) technical environments, and is looking to leverage their passion for avionics and flight software.
