Job description
We are seeking a Certification Specialist to join our Support Center team in Syracuse, New York who is detail-oriented, enjoys new challenges, and thrives within a deadline driven schedule. Certification Specialists are responsible for agency reporting, processing move-ins and recertification’s, sending out notices, monitoring resident accounts, and more. The ideal candidate is an organized problem solver with strong time management skills and a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Minimum 2 years experience: tax credit and HUD lease up experience
- Tax Credit Experience
- Experience with Onesite Property management software or similar
- Demonstrated knowledge of HUD and LIHTC program regulations, up to and including HOTMA
- Current Compliance certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
