Database Engineer - SQL/Oracle - 20+ years of Experience - TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required Halogen Engineering is looking for a Database Engineer who can provide technical and program management support for strategic development, planning and implementation of the customers roadmap and requirements as it relates to best practices and technology. This candidate will provide technical expertise for IT related projects. Leads the completion of a wide range of technical assignments, including such things as analysis of technical issues, review of technical documents, development and analysis of requirements, development of technical papers, and the development of technical recommendations. Good communications and analytical skills. Working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications. Location: Columbia, MD Travel Required: No Shift: Day Remote Type: Onsite Security Clearance: Current TS/SCI Polygraph: Required Salary Range The projected compensation range for this position is 210K to 216K (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. DATABASE ENGINEER - SQL/Oracle - 20+ years of Experience - TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required - TSC, Required Skills 5+ years of experience as a DBA/DBE performing database administration, engineering, or design in support of system engineering, software development, or related activities

• Experience with any of the following technologies and applications:

• MS SQL Server

• PostgreSQL

• MySQL

• Oracle DB

• AWS Aurora, RDS

• ArcGIS

• RESTful web services

• Experience with any of the following a plus:

• Java/Javascript

• HTML/CSS

• SharePoint

• Powershell

• Power BI

• Tableau

• Docker

• Atlassian suite (Jira, etc.)

• Cloud-based platforms

• Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments a strong plus, * Bachelor’s degree in system engineering field or equivalent technical/scientific discipline from an accredited institution

• 20+ years of related professional experience (Parsons will consider a candidate with less experience, but a different LCAT would have to be used)

• Must be able to work in a flexible/fluid environment.

• Strong written and verbal communicate skills.

• Ability to facilitate/lead IT projects and teams.
