Job description

Client: You will work with a globally recognized financial services client, delivering technology solutions for mission critical platforms. The client environment is enterprise scale, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and automation. Project overview: Kubernetes platform engineering and GitOps enablement for an enterprise environment on AWS. The role focuses on operating and improving Kubernetes clusters and implementing ArgoCD based deployment practices.

  • Position overview: We are looking for a Senior DevOps or Platform Engineer with strong hands on experience in Kubernetes and ArgoCD. You will work on AWS based infrastructure, automate provisioning with Terraform, and support reliable delivery pipelines and observability practices. This is a full time role requiring alignment with EST working hours.
  • The estimated salary range for this position is up to USD 180,000 per year.

  • Technology stack: ArgoCD including multi cluster management
  • Kubernetes orchestration and operations
  • AWS including EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM, ASM, ACM, PrivateLink, VPC Lattice
  • Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Scripting with Bash, Python, or Go
  • CI CD with GitLab
  • Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and DataDog
  • Argo Workflows and Helm
  • SSO and authentication with OIDC, SAML, Keycloak, and Okta

  • Responsibilities: Operate, troubleshoot, and improve Kubernetes environments in production
  • Implement and maintain GitOps workflows with ArgoCD, including multi cluster setups
  • Provision and manage AWS infrastructure supporting Kubernetes workloads
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Build automation and operational tooling using Bash, Python, or Go
  • Contribute to CI CD and release workflows and improve the reliability of delivery processes
  • Implement and support observability practices including monitoring, logging, and alerting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in a client facing environment and work independently

Requirements

Do you have experience in Terraform?, * Requirements: Proven hands on experience with Kubernetes operations in production environments

  • Strong practical experience implementing and operating ArgoCD
  • Solid AWS experience, especially with EKS and related services
  • Strong Terraform experience for real world infrastructure provisioning
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go
  • Strong ownership mindset, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills in a client facing setup
  • Ability to work EST hours

  • Nice to have: Argo Workflows
  • Helm
  • CI CD implementation experience using GitLab
  • Observability tooling experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and DataDog
  • SSO and authentication integration experience with OIDC, SAML, Keycloak, and Okta
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
