Application Support Specialist

VersaCall builds andon and production monitoring software for manufacturing clients. We are looking for a technically-minded support engineer to be the primary point of contact for our client base, helping them configure, troubleshoot, and get the most out of the VersaCall platform. Over time, the successful candidate will become the in-house expert on the VersaCall platform, serving as the go-to resource for both clients and internal teams.

This is a hands-on role where you will be diagnosing real problems, working directly inside the system, and supporting clients through technical issues. You will have access to internal documentation and tooling to support your work.

What You’ll Do

• Own the technical support relationship with a portfolio of manufacturing clients

• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues across client installations

• Configure and deploy VersaCall systems for new and existing clients

• Execute and work with internal scripts to handle system updates and configuration changes

• Document issues, solutions, and system configurations

Do you have experience in Scripting?, 1-3 years in a technical support, IT, or systems administration role

• Working knowledge of JavaScript and SQL sufficient to read, understand, and work with existing scripts

• Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments is a plus

• Strong communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical clients

• Organized and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously

Nice to Have

• Experience with any of: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or time-series databases

• Familiarity with Linux command line

• Background in manufacturing, industrial software, or IoT environments
