Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.0 GPA or higher plus 2 - 4 years of experience in software development or engineering OR Masters degree with less than 2 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Object-oriented design
  • Data structures
  • Network communications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced technical environment.
  • Must be a US citizen, possess an active secret clearance or able to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance.
  • Must reside in the Huntsville, AL area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.

Leidos Defense is seeking several at various career levels to join a highly talented RF Systems Portfolioteam located in Huntsville, AL. This portfolio supports radar design, hardware builds, algorithm development, software development, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing, and weapons system analysis across a diverse range of research, development, and operational programs.

In this role, assignments may focus on one or more of the following areas:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software using Agile methodologies.
  • Develop tactical software for Leidos Defense radar systems.
  • Create modeling, simulation, and analysis toolsets supporting:
  • Algorithm development
  • Requirements development
  • System testing
  • Prototype radar system development
  • Test, analyze, and debug complex software systems across multiple architectures and operating systems.

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
