Job description
The Manager of Enterprise EPIC Technical Applications is responsible for managing the Epic software platform and related managed services providers, as well as other key applications/solutions/platforms. This role involves leading technical teams, managing projects, ensuring compliance, and providing technical support. The Manager of Enterprise EPIC Technical Applications also monitors system performance, handles budget management, and communicates effectively with stakeholders and other leaders to meet organization needs., * Must have ability to travel to our various locations within Indiana as needed for onsite meetings.
- Ensure the Epic system complies with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
- Manage the lifecycle of the Epic EHR system, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance. Oversee managed services of daily support operations and drive resolutions of Epic-related incidents and problems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to clinical operations.
- Ensure seamless integration of Epic with other healthcare systems and applications.
- Manage the lifecycle of multiple applications, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Lead a team of application administrators and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with software vendors to ensure timely updates, patches, and support.
- Monitor application performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
Bachelorâs Degree Relevant Field of Study - Required
- Required In Lieu of degree, 10 years of experience -Required
- 5 years Relevant work experience with degree - Required -OR-
- 10+ years relevant work experience in lieu of degree - Required
- 2 years Management Experience - Preferred
- EPIC Certified or Accredited EPIC Relevant certification upon hire - Required
- Licensure - EPIC Clarity - Preferred
- Licensure - EPIC Client Systems Administrator - Preferred
- Licensure - Operational Database Administrator - Preferred
