Job description
- Integration of firewall and network telemetry with SIEM platforms.
- Network traffic analysis and security-event investigation.
- Development of security baselines and secure configurations.
- AWS or Azure network-security architecture.
- Architecture diagrams, implementation plans, configuration documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Federal experience involving NIST, FISMA, CIS benchmarks, or comparable security frameworks.
Contract eligibility requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to satisfy IRS security requirements, including a High-Risk Background Investigation, federal tax-compliance review, and seven-panel drug screening.
- Must be willing to sign a letter of commitment if selected.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in networking, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Six to ten years of network- and security-engineering experience.
- Expert-level experience with:
- Enterprise firewalls and routers.
- VPNs and secure remote access.
- Proxy technologies.
- IDS/IPS.
- Network Access Control.
- Network segmentation.
- Strong understanding of secure network architecture and Zero Trust principles.
- Cloud and hybrid on-premises/cloud networking experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead major network-security architecture implementations, changes, or upgrades.
Highlight these qualifications or experience:
- Palo Alto Prisma Access.
- Palo Alto physical or virtual firewalls.
- Panorama, PAN-OS, or GlobalProtect.
- Firewall-policy development, review, tuning, and cleanup.
- Identity-based access and MFA integration.
- Zero Trust segmentation or microsegmentation., * A resume limited to three pages and focused on relevant experience from the past ten years.
- Bachelor’s degree and field of study.
- Years of direct network- and security-engineering experience.
- Specific Palo Alto and Prisma Access experience.
- Zero Trust implementation experience.
- Cloud and hybrid-networking experience.
- Current employer and availability., * Must be a U.S. Citizen
