Job description

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js within a modern AWS environment. The engineer will build scalable microservices, collaborate with architects, product owners, and technical leaders, and help deliver reliable, high-performing applications following software design patterns, Twelve-Factor App principles, and Agile software development practices. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers while contributing to architecture discussions and engineering best practices.

Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years developing RESTful microservices with Java and Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience building cloud-native applications on AWS. Strong expertise is required with Node.js API development, AWS services such as SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, EKS, and Aurora PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins CI/CD, Kafka, SQL, and PostgreSQL. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, containerized deployments, asynchronous messaging, and scalable distributed systems is essential. Must Have:

Java/Spring API Development

Great communication skills
