Senior Systems Engineer III (Health IT)

Red Pulley Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer III to support the ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC) Health Information Technology Unit (HITU) Enterprise Health IT Staffing and Professional Services Support program. This role provides advanced technical engineering expertise to support HITU staff in the management and monitoring of modernized HITU programs, ensuring IT systems are designed, implemented, and maintained in alignment with operational needs, security requirements, and enterprise architecture standards., * Provide advanced technical engineering analysis and advisory support for enterprise IT systems and infrastructure

• Evaluate system architectures, technical designs, and solution proposals for alignment with operational, security, and performance requirements
• Support enterprise system modernization, integration, and lifecycle management initiatives
• Identify and assess technical risks, including scalability, interoperability, performance, and sustainability
• Review and validate technical documentation, system designs, and engineering deliverables
• Collaborate with PMs, developers, security teams, and OCIO stakeholders
• Support troubleshooting of complex technical issues affecting multiple systems
• Advise leadership on technical tradeoffs, risks, and mitigation strategies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Advanced technical knowledge of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and architecture
• Minimum 8 years of technical engineering experience, including at least 3 years in federal IT environments supporting complex multi-platform programs
• Experience evaluating technical designs, system architectures, and engineering solutions for alignment with operational and security requirements
• Experience identifying and mitigating technical risks, including scalability, performance, and interoperability concerns
• Ability to review and validate technical documentation, system designs, and engineering deliverables
• Proven skill in troubleshooting complex technical issues across systems and platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of system modernization, integration, and lifecycle management in a federal environment
• Experience collaborating with Program Managers, developers, security teams, and OCIO stakeholders
• Federal IT experience strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and decision-makers
• Cloud infrastructure certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
