Job description
Execute NPI WiFi/BT CoEx performance testing for NPI devices based on defined coverage. Maintain test stations on calibration, scripts, config files and equipment.
- Perform first-level issue triage for conducted and radiated performance testing using sni?er, validate CoEx policies, identify internal OS regressions.
- Post-process RF CoEx performance data and generate quality reports on throughput, MOS, and GPM e.g., audio test for Glitch Per Minute (GPM) detection, Adobe Audition/POLQA for MOS scores).
- Execute competitor study first-level issue trouble-shooting with 3rd-party labs to ensure data accuracy for WiFi/BT/Cell/GNSS CoExistence.
- Provide onsite technical support at 3rd-party labs to assist in new test bring-up, test setup maintenance to resolve execution issues.
- Track competitor study test progress across 3rd-party labs to ensure timely data delivery and on-demand test needs.
- Manage vendor logistics and PR/PO processes, including tracking vendor BPO balance, procuring competitor devices and RF equipment/accessories.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years relevant work experience.
- Experience with testing system performance of multi-radio coexistence for various wireless technologies (e.g., Cellular, Wi-Fi, BT, GNSS) in throughput, MOS, glitches, carrier-noise.
- Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence with hands-on experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of RF lab equipment including spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator and sni?er.
- Programming experience of RF test automation
- Knowledge of wireless architectures including front-end, antenna sharing, link budget.
- Strong Project management capability.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
