Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Network Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring stable and secure connectivity across the organisation, supporting both on-site and remote users., * Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points)

Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues
Assist in network upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure projects
Configure and manage LAN/WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory
Support network security measures, including firewalls and access controls
Collaborate with IT teams to support system integration and deployment
Provide technical support to users related to network issues

Requirements

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with networking hardware, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of network protocols and security., * Diploma or degree in Networking, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

2-4+ years of experience in network support or administration
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
Experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, etc.)
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostics
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
